What the...?

HELLOOOOOOO! It's been a while since I gave you some wacky news, but I came across this gem and well, sharing is caring...

Ice Cream seller accused of selling drugs - Reuters

A New York man has been arrested for allegedly selling illegal prescription drugs from his ice cream truck, making more than $1 million in a year, prosecutors said. Louis Scala, 40, is accused of selling more than 40,000 prescription oxycodone pills from his ice cream truck in the borough of Staten Island and heading up a 30-person drug ring that included more than two dozen runners to fill fake prescriptions, prosecutors said.

The Chemist Says: Seriously, where else could this happen aside from the land of the free and home of the brave? Truly amazing! I guess they got as much of an apetite for pills, or more so, as they do for tasty treats!

Til next time, enjoy the wacky!!!

Here's edition uno...

Police Called To Settle Village 'Tank' Row - The Telegraph
Yep, there are no mistakes or errors of any kind in that headline. Military enthusiast Nicholas Kravchenko, purchased a military tank for 10,000 pounds. Obviously, this was going to bring about parking issues so where best to park it than outside your home? Well, the residents of the small, mostly tranquil town of Wolvercote, near Oxford, were up in arms about it.

The tank, as seen to the left, was driven there by Nic himself. Residents have called the police to settle the 'neighbourhood dispute'. But good ol' Nic aint gonna bend over on this one, saying, 'The council have not said it is anti-social and the police would have been onto me if I was parked illegally".

Nic went on to say, "it's not intimidating because it's a square box with a Rolls Royce engine and (here's the kicker) it doesn't stick out on the road".

What's the world coming to when a man cant drive and park his tank outside his own home?? This is preposterous!

Beer To Be Classified As Alcohol in Russia - The Telegraph
You must be asking yourself the same question I am, it wasn't?? Well, 'no' be the answer to that one. It was classified as a 'foodstuff'. But with the Kremlin embarking on the toughest anti-alcohol campaign seen in the country, the beverage has been classified as a beer and thus, will not escape the iron hand of The Kremlin. So sad.
And I was just planning a trip to Russia...still, cheers!

Indian Man with 39 Wives, 94 Children and 33 Grandchildren - The Telegraph
"I once married 10 woman in 1 year", says Ziona Chana, who must be the world's single-most highest contributor to the population. In some countries, thats an entire village. But from his above quote, its no surprises as to how it all happened, is it?

One more thing, they all live under one roof!! Yep, a 4-storied building in Baktawang, Mizoram, India. The wives live in a dormitory and take turns cooking, daughters handle the washing and cleaning, while the men do the outdoorsy jobs such as farming. At least he keeps them all together. And I bet you were thinking he has no family values. Shame on you! I just hope he has no women on the side.
